Overview

A passive aluminum heatsink designed for M.2 2280 NVMe and SATA SSDs. It includes thermal pads for both single-sided and double-sided drives to reduce thermal throttling.

Design and Build

The heatsink uses a ribbed aluminum body measuring 77 x 22 x 10 mm and weighs 19 grams. Its black finish and low profile allow installation in tight spaces on motherboards or inside adapters.

Cooling Performance

The finned structure dissipates heat from high-performance NVMe drives, lowering temperatures by up to 25 °C. This prevents thermal throttling and helps extend the lifespan of the SSD.

Compatibility

Supports any capacity M.2 2280 drive using SATA AHCI or NVMe PCIe protocols. The included thermal pads are configurable for components on one side or both sides of the PCB.

The cardboard box contains the passive heatsink, two thermally conductive pads, and all necessary mounting material for immediate installation.
