Overview

A passive aluminum heatsink with cooling fins designed for M.2 2280 SSDs. It lowers drive temperatures by up to 40°C to prevent thermal throttling and extend drive life.

Design and Build

The heatsink uses a ribbed aluminum body measuring 32 mm tall to maximize surface area. A metal bracket clamps the assembly, enabling heat transfer from both sides of the SSD for maximum efficiency.

Compatibility

Designed for M.2 2280 form factor drives of any capacity. Works with both SATA AHCI and NVMe PCIe SSDs, whether components sit on one side or both sides of the PCB.

Installation

Three thermally conductive pads of varying thickness accommodate different component heights. The package includes a screwdriver and all mounting hardware for direct attachment to motherboard slots or AXAGON adapters.
