Overview

This extension kit adapts universal PSUs to the 12VHPWR standard for RTX 4000 series GPUs. It includes motherboard power cables and cable management accessories.

Design and Materials

The kit uses ModMesh textile sleeving in black and blue. Several cables ship with closed cable combs already installed. Additional hybrid combs and a cable shroud are provided for a clean finish.

Performance and Use

The 12VHPWR adapter connects to three 8-pin PCIe ports on a universal PSU to power PCIe 5.0 graphics cards. All three 8-pin connectors must be populated for correct operation. A 35 mm bend radius from the GPU connector is required.

Connectivity

The main cable features a 16-pin 12VHPWR plug and three 8-pin PCIe plugs. Motherboard cables include a 24-pin ATX extension, an 8-pin EPS extension, and a 4+4-pin EPS extension. All connectors are straight.

What Is Included

One 16-pin to 3x 8-pin PCIe cable, one 24-pin ATX cable, one 8-pin EPS cable, one 4+4-pin EPS cable, one cable shroud, two 8-pin hybrid combs, and two 4-pin hybrid combs. All cables measure 45 cm except the 24-pin at 30 cm.
