Overview

This active backplate pairs with the Vector² water block to cool the EVGA XC3 RTX 3080, 3080 Ti, and 3090. It uses a Direct Link terminal for a single-loop connection.

Direct Link Flow Design

A machined brass insert inside the acetal terminal connects the water block and backplate diagonally. This allows serial or parallel flow from adjacent or opposing ports using only one inlet and one outlet.

Materials and Construction

The cold plate is CNC-machined from nickel-plated electrolytic copper. The top is CNC-machined cast acrylic. A black-anodized aluminum side cover conceals the PCB for a uniform enclosure.

Lighting and Aesthetics

Addressable RGB lighting runs through a 3-pin 5V connector. It syncs with ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and ASRock Polychrome. Magnetic covers hide terminal screws and allow logo rotation.

Compatibility and Use

Designed specifically for EVGA XC3 RTX 3080, 3080 Ti, and 3090 graphics cards. Requires the matching EK-Quantum Vector² water block to function as a combined cooling unit.
