Overview

A full-cover water block designed specifically for ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards. It cools the GPU, memory, and VRMs using a nickel-plated copper base and transparent acrylic top with addressable RGB lighting.

Design and Materials

The block uses a nickel-plated copper cold plate to transfer heat from the GPU die, memory modules, and voltage regulators. A frosted transparent acrylic top provides a clear view of the internal flow path and integrated lighting. A black anodized aluminum backplate covers the PCB rear, adding rigidity and assisting with heat dissipation.

Lighting and Ecosystem

Addressable D-RGB LEDs are built into the acrylic top, allowing synchronization with motherboard RGB software. The unit supports the EK-Matrix7 mounting standard, which aligns port positions across compatible EK components for simplified tube routing.

Connectivity and Installation

Two G1/4-inch threaded ports are located on the rear edge of the block, keeping fittings hidden and tubing runs clean. The package includes the water block, backplate, and necessary mounting hardware for the supported ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 models.
