Overview

A direct-die CPU water block for Intel LGA 1700 processors without an integrated heat spreader. It features a nickel-plated copper base, acrylic top, and RGB lighting for custom loops.

Direct-Die Performance

The cold plate uses 99.99% pure electrolytic copper with a nickel finish for direct contact with the processor die. An optimized fin structure and mounting pressure target the specific die layout of 12th, 13th, and 14th Gen Intel Core CPUs. Low flow restriction allows operation with weaker pumps at lower noise levels.

Design and Lighting

A CNC-milled cast acrylic top provides a clear view of the internal structure. Integrated addressable RGB lighting connects via a standard 3-pin 5V digital header with a 50 cm cable. The assembly uses black anodized aluminum accents for a clean aesthetic.

Mounting and Compatibility

The EK-Exact Direct Die Mount system secures the block without visible screws or brackets. It is designed exclusively for Intel LGA 1700 sockets with delidded processors. Two G1/4 inch ports accept standard water cooling fittings.

Included Accessories

Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut liquid metal thermal compound is included for optimal thermal transfer between the die and cold plate. Mounting hardware for the EK-Exact system is also provided.
