Overview

A premium CPU water block built for AMD AM5 socket and Ryzen 7000 series processors. It combines a socket-specific cooling engine with integrated addressable RGB lighting and a tool-free mounting system.

Socket-Specific Cooling Engine

The cold plate geometry and mounting pressure are tailored to the IHS and die layout of Ryzen 7000 processors. An asymmetric jet plate directs flow to the hottest areas while the lathe-turned copper base covers the entire IHS. Hydraulic flow restriction remains low for high-performance loops.

EK-ExactMount Installation

Spring-loaded Torx screws are integrated into the block and thread counter-clockwise into the motherboard's stock backplate. A hard-stop design prevents over-torquing and ensures correct mounting pressure every time. No separate backplate or tools are required.

Materials and Lighting

The base uses 99.99% pure electrolytic copper with nickel plating for corrosion resistance. The top is CNC-machined black POM acetal. Seventeen addressable RGB LEDs sit under a diffuser strip and connect via a standard 3-pin 5V D-RGB header.

EK-Matrix7 Compliance

Port positions and block height follow the 7mm raster standard. This simplifies loop planning, reduces tube bending, and aligns with other EK-Matrix7 components such as reservoirs, radiators, and distribution plates.
