Overview

A high-performance CPU water block built for AMD socket AM5. It combines a precision-machined copper cold plate with a striking silver-anodized aluminum top cover and addressable RGB lighting.

Cooling Engine Design

The lathe-turned cold plate covers the entire IHS and applies optimal pressure on the die area. An asymmetric jet plate cutout directs flow where it is needed most. The design achieves low hydraulic flow restriction while conforming to AM5 mounting pressure and keep-out zone guidelines.

Materials and Construction

The cold plate uses 99.99% pure electrolytic copper, precision-machined and nickel-plated for superior heat transfer. The top cover is cut from a 30 mm thick aluminum sheet, CNC-milled into an array of irregular tetrahedrons, and silver anodized for a distinctive look.

Installation and Lighting

The EK-ExactMount system uses a stock backplate, mounting screws, and hidden pre-tensioned springs for a clean front appearance with no visible screws. Thirty addressable RGB LEDs connect via a 3-pin 5 V D-RGB header compatible with all major motherboard synchronization technologies.

EK-Matrix7 Compliance

This water block follows the EK-Matrix7 standard, aligning product height and port spacing in 7 mm increments. The system simplifies tube routing and loop planning for custom liquid cooling builds.
