Overview

A brass quick-disconnect coupling that seals automatically when separated. Designed for 16mm OD, 10mm ID hard tubing in custom liquid-cooling loops.

Design and Materials

The fitting uses a nickel-plated brass body with a silver exterior. Internal valves close instantly when the male counterpart is removed, preventing coolant loss. The straight, non-rotatable profile keeps tubing runs clean.

Connection Details

One end provides a female G1/4" thread for standard water-blocks or radiators. The opposite end accepts 16mm outer-diameter, 10mm inner-diameter rigid tubing via a compression mechanism. No barb or soft-tube support is included.

Intended Use

Suited for custom open-loop cooling where components may be swapped or serviced without draining the loop. The QD3 series is compatible with other QD3 male fittings of the same size.
