The Lexar NQ780 is a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD in M.2 2280 form factor. It suits desktop and laptop users who need fast storage for games and workloads.

Design and Build

The drive uses a single-sided M.2 2280 PCB measuring 80 mm by 22 mm and 2.45 mm thick. It weighs 6 grams and has no heatsink. The layout fits thin laptops and standard desktop slots.

Performance and Endurance

An 8-channel Gen 4 controller delivers up to 6000 MB/s read and 2500 MB/s write. SLC caching and Host Memory Buffer reduce latency. The drive is rated for 600 TBW and 1.5 million hours MTBF.

Features and Software

Intelligent Power Control adjusts consumption to workload. Lexar DiskMaster software provides firmware updates, secure erase, and health monitoring. All units are validated in Lexar Quality Labs.

Connectivity

The SSD connects via M.2 M-key slot using PCIe 4.0 x4 lanes. It is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 systems. No RGB lighting is included.
