Performance and Use

A single splitter runs two fans from one motherboard header with simultaneous PWM control. Multiple splitters can be daisy-chained to expand the number of fans per header. Total power draw must stay within the header's rated limit, typically 9.6 W or 12 W.

Compatibility

The 4-pin connectors accept both 3-pin and 4-pin fans. PWM speed control functions only with 4-pin PWM fans; 3-pin fans will run at a fixed voltage.
