Overview

The NH-U12S redux is a slim single-tower air cooler with a 120mm PWM fan. It fits most cases, clears tall RAM, and supports current Intel and AMD platforms.

Design and Compatibility

The cooler stands 158mm tall and 125mm wide with fan clips, clearing the top PCIe slot on standard ATX and Micro-ATX boards. Its 45mm fin depth prevents overhang on any current RAM slots, allowing full use of tall heat-spreaders or RGB modules.

Fan Performance

The included NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM fan operates between 450 and 1700 RPM, delivering up to 120.2 m³/h airflow while peaking at 25.1 dB(A). PWM control keeps noise low at idle and ramps up under load.

Mounting and Installation

SecuFirm2 mounting hardware covers Intel LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1200, LGA2011, LGA2011-3, LGA2066 and AMD AM4. A precision-machined nickel-plated copper base ensures even contact, and NT-H1 paste is pre-applied for immediate installation.

Expandability

The heatsink accepts a second 120mm fan for push-pull configuration. The optional NA-FK1 kit adds another NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM fan, clips, anti-vibration pads, a Y-cable, and Low-Noise Adaptors for further tuning.
