Polartherm X-8 is a gray silicone-based thermal paste blended with aluminum and aluminum oxide. The 40 g syringe includes an applicator kit for roughly 70 to 80 installations.

Composition and Safety

The paste uses a silicone binder mixed with aluminum and aluminum oxide particles. It is electrically non-conductive, so accidental contact with circuitry will not cause shorts.

Thermal Performance

Rated for continuous operation from -50 °C to 150 °C. Low viscosity allows the compound to spread into tiny surface imperfections, improving heat transfer between the CPU and cooler.
