Overview

This adapter adds a PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot to a desktop PC. It supports NVMe SSDs in common lengths and includes a low-profile bracket.

Tool-Free Installation

A screwless latch mechanism locks the M.2 SSD in place with a simple press. No screws or standoffs are required, reducing installation time and hardware clutter.

PCIe 4.0 Performance

The card converts a PCIe x4 slot into an M-key M.2 socket running at Gen 4 speeds. It is designed for NVMe SSDs using the NVMe driver for optimal throughput.

Power Management

A CLKREQ jumper allows the drive to request clock signals only when active. This lowers idle power draw and supports modern power-saving states.

Compatibility and Contents

The adapter accepts M-key NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 lengths. It does not support SATA or AHCI-based M.2 drives. A low-profile bracket is included for small form factor builds.
