Overview

This PCIe x8 RAID controller uses the LSI 3008 chip to manage up to eight SAS or SATA drives. It supports RAID 0, 1, 1E, and 10 and includes a low-profile bracket for compact builds.

Design and Interface

The card installs in a PCIe x8 slot and uses two mini-SAS HD SFF-8643 connectors for internal drive connections. A low-profile bracket is supplied for installation in slim chassis.

Performance and RAID Support

The onboard LSI 3008 controller provides hardware RAID acceleration for levels 0, 1, 1E, and 10. It manages up to eight SAS or SATA drives without a separate expander.

Connectivity

Two internal SFF-8643 ports each break out to four drive links, delivering eight total SAS or SATA connections. The PCIe x8 interface ensures adequate bandwidth for the attached array.

What Is Included

The package contains the RAID controller card and a low-profile mounting bracket. Cables for the mini-SAS HD connectors are not included.
