Overview

The Minus Pad Pro is a high-conductivity thermal pad designed to replace paste on memory chips and voltage regulators. It bridges gaps up to 2mm with minimal pressure required.

Design and Materials

The pad uses a silicone carrier loaded with aluminum oxide particles. It is gray in color and electrically non-conductive, preventing short circuits on exposed circuitry.

Performance and Use

Thermal conductivity matches traditional paste while tolerating larger gaps. Thickness does not significantly affect performance, so selection depends only on the distance between surfaces.

Application Scenarios

Suited for GPU memory modules, voltage regulator modules, and other areas where paste application is impractical. Compresses easily under light pressure from heatsinks or backplates.
