Design and Build

The switch uses a black metal enclosure measuring 158 by 101 by 25 millimeters. It sits on a desktop or mounts on a wall. LED indicators show link and activity status for each port.

Performance

Switching capacity reaches 16 Gbit/s with a forwarding rate of 11.9 Mpps. The MAC table holds 4,096 entries. Jumbo frames up to 16,000 bytes and a 1.5 MB packet buffer handle burst traffic.

Energy Efficiency

IEEE 802.3az support powers down idle ports and scales transmit power to cable length. Maximum consumption is 3.3 watts from the included external adapter rated for 220 V AC input.
