Overview

This 24-core Zen 5 processor targets professional workstations needing high core counts, large cache, and extensive PCIe connectivity. It ships boxed without a cooler.

Workstation Performance

The processor delivers 24 cores and 48 threads for heavy multithreaded workloads. Precision Boost raises clocks to 5.4 GHz while Precision Boost Overdrive allows further tuning within thermal limits. Smart-Fetch cache algorithms reduce latency for faster data access.

Zen 5 Architecture

Built on a 4 nm FinFET process, the Zen 5 cores increase instructions per clock over the previous generation. The design maintains the same die size and 350 W TDP while adding AVX2 vector units and dual AES encryption engines.

Platform Connectivity

The sTR5 socket provides 88 PCIe 5.0 lanes for high-bandwidth GPUs, storage, and networking. The quad-channel memory controller supports DDR5 RDIMMs up to 6400 MT/s with ECC, enabling up to 1 TB of system memory.
