Overview

This ATX motherboard uses the Intel Z890 chipset and LGA 1851 socket for 2nd generation Core Ultra processors. It suits builders who need strong connectivity and storage options.

Design and Power Delivery

The board follows the standard ATX layout measuring 305 by 244 mm. A 20-phase VRM is cooled by dedicated heatsinks. Two 8-pin CPU power connectors supply stable current for overclocking.

Memory and Expansion

Four DIMM slots accept up to 256 GB of DDR5 memory with XMP 3.0 profiles reaching 8666 MT/s. The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot runs at full electrical x16. Two additional PCIe 4.0 x4 slots and one PCIe 4.0 x1 slot provide extra expansion capacity.

Storage and Connectivity

Four M.2 sockets cover PCIe 5.0 x4, two PCIe 4.0 x4 from the CPU, and one PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA from the chipset. Four SATA 6 Gbps ports are also available. Rear I/O includes USB4 Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Type-C, USB 3.1 Type-A, two USB 3.0 Type-A, four USB 2.0 Type-A, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI, and 2.5 GbE LAN.

Headers and Included Accessories

Internal headers provide one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C, four USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, front audio, SPI TPM, three 3-pin ARGB, and two 4-pin RGB connectors. The box contains an I/O shield, two SATA cables, and one M.2 mounting screw.
