Overview

An ATX motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset for Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors. It delivers PCIe 5.0 for GPU and storage, DDR5 memory support up to 8200 MT/s, and integrated Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3.

Design and Build

The board uses a standard ATX layout measuring 305 by 244 mm in a black finish. It includes a pre-installed I/O shield, VRM heatsinks, M.2 heatsinks, and a backplate for structural rigidity.

Performance and Use

Supports AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series processors with CPU overclocking capability. Memory runs at 5200 MT/s standard and up to 8200 MT/s with AMD EXPO profiles. A 4-pin plus 8-pin CPU power configuration feeds the VRM.

Connectivity and Expansion

One PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots wired as x1 provide expansion. External ports include HDMI, two USB 3.1 Type-A, one USB 3.0 Type-C, two USB 3.0 Type-A, and two USB 2.0 Type-A. Networking features 1 GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.

Storage and Internal I/O

Two M.2 sockets accept PCIe 5.0 x4 and PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe drives. Four SATA 6 Gbps ports handle additional drives. Internal headers supply one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, one USB 3.0 header for two ports, two USB 2.0 headers for four ports, RGB and digital RGB lighting, front-panel audio, and SPI TPM.
