Overview

This ATX motherboard pairs the Intel Z890 chipset with an LGA 1851 socket for second-generation Core Ultra processors. It targets enthusiasts who need high-speed storage, strong VRM cooling, and modern connectivity.

Layout and Cooling

The white ATX board measures 305 by 244 mm and includes VRM heatsinks. Power arrives through two 8-pin ATX12V connectors feeding the 18+1+1+1+1 phase design. Eight 4-pin headers handle CPU fans, a water pump, and case fans.

Memory and Expansion

Four DDR5 DIMM slots support dual-channel kits up to 256 GB at 9,066 MT/s via XMP 3.0. Expansion includes a CPU-linked PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, a chipset-linked PCIe 4.0 x16 slot running at x4, and a chipset PCIe 4.0 x4 slot.

Storage and Rear I/O

Four M.2 sockets provide one PCIe 5.0 x4, two PCIe 4.0 x4, and one combo PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA slot alongside four SATA 6 Gbps ports.
