Overview

This white ATX motherboard pairs the Intel Z890 chipset with an LGA 1851 socket for second-generation Core Ultra processors. It targets builders who want strong VRM cooling, PCIe 5.0 storage, and Wi-Fi 7.

Design and Cooling

The board uses a white and silver color scheme with a pre-installed I/O shield and metal backplate. Heatsinks cover the VRM and all four M.2 slots to maintain thermal performance under load.

Performance and Memory

A 16+1+2 phase digital VRM delivers stable power for overclocking. Four DIMM slots support up to 256 GB of DDR5 at 5,600 MT/s standard or 8,800 MT/s via XMP 3.0 and CUDIMM modules.

Storage and Expansion

Two CPU-linked M.2 slots run at PCIe 5.0 x4 and two chipset-linked slots run at PCIe 4.0 x4, all supporting 2280 drives. Four SATA 6 Gbps ports are also available. The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot operates at x16 or x8/x8, while two additional slots provide PCIe 4.0 x4 electrical connectivity.

Connectivity and Included Items

Rear I/O includes one USB4 Type-C port, two USB 3.1 Type-A, three USB 3.0 Type-A, four USB 2.0 Type-A, DisplayPort, 2.5 GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 7 antenna connectors, and audio jacks. Internal headers provide one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, three ARGB headers, one 12 V RGB header, and seven 4-pin fan connectors. The box contains a Wi-Fi 7 antenna, two M.2 screws, two SATA cables, a G-Connector, and documentation.
