Overview

A compact USB 3.2 Gen 2 enclosure that accepts M.2 NVMe or SATA SSDs up to 80mm. An integrated LED display reports drive health, temperature, and transfer speed in real time.

Drive compatibility and installation

The enclosure accepts M-key or B+M-key M.2 SSDs in 2242, 2260, and 2280 lengths, both single-sided and double-sided, with no capacity limit. A screwless sliding cover makes drive swaps fast and tool-free.

Performance and monitoring

USB 3.2 Gen 2 delivers up to 10Gbps theoretical bandwidth and real-world speeds around 1000MB/s. UASP and TRIM maintain SSD performance. The LED display cycles through drive recognition, filesystem details, temperature graph, SMART health, read/write speed, and sleep status.

Thermal design and connectivity

An aluminum chassis and included thermal pad conduct heat away from the drive to prevent throttling. The reversible USB-C port works with USB 5Gbps, 20Gbps, USB4, and Thunderbolt 3/4/5 hosts. A 25cm USB-C cable and USB-C to USB-A adapter ship in the box.

Operating system support

Plug-and-play operation on Windows 7 through 11, macOS, iPadOS, iOS, Linux, Chrome OS, and Android. Hot-plug and standby modes are supported. The device draws up to 900mA from a single USB port.
