Overview

A tool-free aluminum enclosure that turns M.2 NVMe or SATA SSDs into portable 10Gbps USB-C drives. Fits 2230 to 2280 sizes and includes thermal pads for cooling.

Design and Cooling

The black aluminum housing opens with a single button press for tool-free SSD installation. Two thermal pads are provided to contact both sides of the drive, using the metal chassis as a heatsink.

Performance and Compatibility

The USB 3.1 Gen 2 connection delivers up to 10Gbps bandwidth. It accepts M-key NVMe and B+M-key SATA SSDs in 2230 through 2280 lengths. B-key SATA drives are not supported.

Connectivity and Contents

A USB-C port on the enclosure connects to host devices using the included USB-C to C cable or USB-C to A cable. Both cables are shielded for signal integrity.
