Overview

This PCIe x1 network card adds a 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 port to a desktop PC. It includes both standard and low-profile brackets for flexible installation.

Design and Installation

The card uses a single-lane PCIe 2.1 connection that fits any x1, x4, x8, or x16 slot. A standard bracket is pre-installed, and a low-profile bracket is included for small-form-factor cases.

Performance and Features

The Intel I210-AT chipset provides hardware checksum offload, RSS scaling up to four queues, and IEEE 1588 timestamping. Jumbo frames up to 9.5 kB and full-duplex flow control are supported.

Connectivity and Standards

The RJ45 port handles 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, and 1000Base-T with auto MDI/MDIX crossover correction. IEEE 802.3az EEE reduces power during idle periods, and IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging is available.

Power Management and Wake

ACPI, APM, ASPM, and PCIe MSI/MSI-X lower system load. Wake-on-LAN works via Magic Packet, and ECMA-393 proxZzzy support maintains network presence for sleeping hosts.
