Overview

A CNC-machined nickel-plated aluminum backplate designed for EK Quantum Vector Xtreme RTX 3080 and 3090 water blocks. It covers the full PCB length and provides passive cooling for rear components.

Design and Materials

The backplate is CNC machined from aluminum with a nickel-plated silver finish. It spans the entire length of the graphics card PCB for structural rigidity and a uniform appearance.

Thermal Performance

The plate acts as a heatsink for the backside of the voltage regulation module and GPU core. On RTX 3090 cards, it also contacts and cools rear-mounted VRAM modules.

Compatibility

This accessory fits all EK Quantum Vector Xtreme water blocks for RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 reference designs. It is not compatible with standard Vector series blocks.

Included Accessories

The package contains the backplate, a dedicated mounting mechanism with screws, and pre-cut thermal pads for all contact surfaces.
