Overview

An ATX board built on the AMD B850 chipset for Socket AM5 processors. It suits budget gaming builds and light overclocking with strong memory and storage support.

Design and Build

The board uses a black and gray ATX layout with a pre-installed I/O shield. VRM and M.2 heatsinks are included for thermal management. No rear backplate is present.

Performance and Overclocking

A 6+2+2 phase VRM design supports light overclocking. Memory can reach 8200 MT/s via AMD EXPO or Intel XMP profiles. Q-Flash Plus allows BIOS updates without a CPU installed.

Connectivity and Storage

External I/O provides one USB 3.1 Type-C, one USB 3.1 Type-A, three USB 3.0 Type-A, and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports plus DisplayPort and HDMI. Networking uses a Realtek 2.5 GbE controller, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. Storage includes four SATA 6G ports and three M.2 slots.

Internal Headers and Expansion

Internal USB headers include one USB 3.2 Type-C, one USB 3.0, and two USB 2.0 headers. Six 4-pin fan connectors, RGB and digital RGB headers, front audio, and SPI TPM headers are available. Expansion offers one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots.
