Overview

This 256GB octo-channel kit includes eight 32GB DDR5-5600 DIMMs with registered ECC. It targets workstations and servers on Intel W790 or AMD SP5 chipsets.

Design and Cooling

Each module uses a black aluminum heat spreader measuring 31.25 mm tall. The low-profile design fits standard workstation chassis without blocking large CPU coolers.

Performance and Error Correction

The kit runs at 5,600 MHz with tested CL36-38-38 latencies at 1.25V. On-die ECC corrects single-bit errors inside the DRAM, while registered buffers reduce electrical load on the memory controller for stable operation at full population.

Platform Compatibility

Validated for Intel Xeon W-series on C741, C621A, and W790 chipsets. Also supports AMD Threadripper Pro and EPYC on SP5 and WRX80 sockets. SPD defaults to 4,800 MHz CL40-39-39 at 1.1V for baseline boot.

Automatic Overclocking

Intel XMP 3.0 stores optimized voltage and timing profiles. Enabling XMP in the BIOS applies the 5,600 MHz rating without manual configuration.
