The LGA 1851 socket pairs with the Z890 chipset to run Intel Core Ultra Series 2 CPUs. Four DIMM slots accept up to 256 GB of DDR5 memory with XMP 3.0 profiles reaching 9200 MT/s.

Expansion and Storage

Two full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots operate at x16 and x8 electrical, while a chipset-driven PCIe 4.0 x4 slot adds flexibility. Six M.2 connectors support 2280 drives, two wired for PCIe 5.0 x4 and four for PCIe 4.0 x4, alongside four SATA 6G ports.

Connectivity and Networking
