Overview

This E-ATX motherboard pairs the Intel Z890 chipset with the LGA 1851 socket for second-generation Core Ultra processors. It targets enthusiasts and overclockers who need maximum connectivity and power delivery.

Power Delivery and Overclocking

A 29-phase VRM design feeds the CPU through dual 8-pin EPS connectors and an additional 8-pin PCIe power header. Dual BIOS chips, a physical CMOS reset button, and dedicated LN2, BCLK, and Slow Mode switches give precise control for extreme tuning.

Memory and Storage Capacity

Four DIMM slots accept DDR5 up to 8800 MT/s via XMP 3.0, AEMP III, and CUDIMM profiles with a 192 GB ceiling. Six shielded M.2 sockets handle 2242 through 22110 form factors, three wired to the CPU for PCIe 5.0 speeds and three to the chipset for PCIe 4.0.

Connectivity and Networking

The rear I/O includes two Thunderbolt 5 USB-C ports, one USB4 Gen 2x2 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, five USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, and HDMI video. Networking uses a Marvell 10 GbE controller, an Intel 2.5 GbE PHY, and a Wi-Fi 7 module with Bluetooth 5.4.

Cooling and Included Accessories

VRM and M.2 heatsinks cover critical zones, while nine 4-pin fan headers and two dedicated pump headers support complex liquid loops. The bundle adds a ROG DIMM.2 card, multiple fan and ARGB splitter cables, SATA cables, thermal pads, a Wi-Fi antenna, a Q-Connector, a screwdriver, and a 5-inch LCD status display.
