Overview

An ATX motherboard built on the AMD X870E chipset for Socket AM5 Ryzen 9000 series CPUs. It targets enthusiasts who need heavy overclocking headroom, extensive PCIe 5.0 storage, and high-speed I/O.

Power Design and Overclocking

The board uses a 22-phase teamed VRM architecture delivering 110 A per phase for stable CPU power under heavy loads. Digi+ VRM provides granular voltage and frequency tuning. BIOS Flashback and a dedicated Clear CMOS button simplify recovery from failed overclocks.

Expansion and Storage

Two full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots support x16 or x8/x8 electrical configurations and include Q-Release for tool-free GPU removal. Five M.2 sockets accept 2242, 2260, and 2280 drives; three run at PCIe 5.0 x4 and two at PCIe 4.0 x4. Four SATA 6 Gbps ports are also available.

Connectivity and Networking

The rear I/O panel provides two USB4 Type-C ports at 40 Gbit/s with DisplayPort alt mode, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports at 10 Gbit/s, and six USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. Networking includes an Intel 2.5 GbE controller, a Realtek 5 GbE controller, and Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth via the included Q-Antenna.
