Overview

This Mini-ITX motherboard uses the Intel Z790 chipset and LGA 1700 socket for compatible Intel processors. It fits compact builds needing high-speed storage and connectivity.

Thermal Design

An extended heatsink and Frozr heatsink with a heat pipe connect the MOS coolers for greater surface area. A MOSFET baseplate and 7W/mK thermal pads lower component temperatures. The M.2 Shield Frozr covers the chipset and top SSD to prevent throttling.

Fan and Water Cooling Control

Three 4-pin PWM headers support DC and PWM fans with hysteresis for smooth curves. The Frozr AI Cooling feature detects CPU and GPU temperatures to adjust system fans automatically. A dedicated water pump header delivers up to 3A for AIO or custom loops.

Connectivity and Expansion

The board provides one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot rated for heavy cards. Storage includes two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, one PCIe 3.0 M.2 slot, and four SATA 6G ports. Rear I/O offers one 20Gbps USB-C, two USB 3.1 Type-A, four USB 3.0 Type-A, 2.5G LAN, HDMI, and DisplayPort.

Internal Headers

Internal connections include one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C header, two USB 3.0 headers, and one 3-pin 5V digital RGB header. The PCB layout is optimized for signal integrity at high bandwidths.
