You can pay for anything at HodlChip with ether (ETH) sent on Ethereum mainnet, from a graphics card or a gaming laptop to a sim racing wheel base. Prices are set in US dollars; at checkout the payment page shows the exact ETH amount for your order and holds it while you send. Ethereum payments typically confirm in 1 to 5 minutes, and no account is needed.

Why pay with Ethereum

• Fast confirmation: Ethereum payments typically confirm within 1 to 5 minutes, so your order is confirmed quickly.
• Pay from the wallet you already use: any wallet or exchange account that can send ETH on Ethereum mainnet works.
• Private by design: guest checkout with an email address and a shipping address, and no tracking cookies, analytics trackers or ad pixels on the site.
• One address per order: every payment page shows a fresh deposit address for that order only.
• A dollar option in the same wallet: if you hold dollars on-chain, you can pay with USDT on ERC20 from the same Ethereum wallet instead.

Ethereum mainnet only

We accept ETH on Ethereum mainnet only. When you withdraw from an exchange, choose the Ethereum network, often labeled "Ethereum" or "ERC20", not a layer-2 network or another chain. Ethereum deposit addresses start with 0x and look identical on many other networks, so the address format alone will not stop a transfer on the wrong network.

How to pay with Ethereum, step by step

1. Add your products to the cart and go to checkout. Enter an email address and a shipping address; a phone number is optional and only passed to the carrier.
2. Choose a delivery option: checkout shows the carrier, the price and the delivery dates for your address, and standard shipping is free within the EU on orders of $300 or more.
3. Select Ethereum (ETH). The payment page shows the exact ETH amount, a fresh deposit address for this order only, a QR code and a countdown, typically 30 minutes.
4. In your wallet, send the exact amount to that address on Ethereum mainnet, and keep a little extra ETH in the wallet to cover gas.
5. The payment page updates on its own once the payment has the required network confirmations. Follow your order, numbered HC- plus 6 characters, on the Track order page.
6. In-stock items ship within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation, and the tracking link is emailed when the parcel ships.

Gas fees, rate lock and timing

You pay the gas as the sender, and the amount that arrives must match the amount shown. Wallets estimate gas automatically, and the standard setting is normally enough for a simple ETH transfer. If you pay from an exchange, check whether it deducts its withdrawal fee from the amount you enter, and add the fee on top if it does. A payment broadcast shortly after the countdown ends is still credited automatically while the address is watched.

If a payment goes wrong

• Underpaid: the payment page shows the remaining amount; send it to the same address while it is still being watched.
• Overpaid: the difference is refunded on request, minus the network fee.
• Expired: start a new payment from your order page, with a new rate and a new address.
• Wrong network or token: email support@hodlchip.com immediately with the transaction ID; recovery may not be possible.

Refunds for ETH orders are paid in ETH on Ethereum mainnet, to an address you provide by email, for the USD amount due converted at the rate on the day of the refund. See our help pages on supported networks and payment issues.

Safety tips for Ethereum payments

• Payment addresses only appear on hodlchip.com payment pages, never in emails, chats, direct messages or phone calls.
• Copy the address from the payment page every time. Address poisoning scams plant look-alike addresses in your wallet history, so never reuse an address from past transactions.
• Compare the first and last characters of the address in your wallet with the payment page before you confirm.
• HodlChip staff never ask for your seed phrase, private key or remote access. Report phishing to support@hodlchip.com with the subject "Phishing", and read our phishing protection tips.
