Buying loop tools & accessories at HodlChip

The right tools make a custom loop faster to build and safer to run:

  • Hard tube tools: bending kits with silicone inserts sized for 12, 14 or 16 mm tubes, a heat gun, and a deburring tool for clean edges that seal on the O-rings.
  • Leak testers: pressurize the empty loop with air and watch the gauge before any coolant goes in, which finds leaks without risking your hardware.
  • Filling and bleeding: squeeze bottles with long spouts, funnels, manual or automatic air vents, and inline filters that catch debris in a new loop.
  • Seals and mounts: spare O-rings, sealing and compression rings, screw sets, and brackets that mount a reservoir or pump on fan holes.

A 24-pin bridging plug lets you run only the pump while you fill. Overclockers will also find delidding tools and CPU frames here; delidding voids the CPU warranty and is for experienced users only. Use the Type filter to find tools, filling parts or O-rings. Pair tools with tubing and fittings, and follow the build order in our custom water cooling guide.

Questions about loop tools & accessories

Do I need a leak tester?
It is the safest way to check a new loop. A leak tester pressurizes the dry loop with air, and if the pressure holds steady, you can fill with coolant. Without one, fill the loop and run only the pump, with paper towels under every fitting, for several hours before powering the PC.
Which bending kit fits my tubes?
Bending inserts and tools are made for one outer diameter, such as 12, 14 or 16 mm, so match the kit to your hard tubing. A heat gun and a deburring tool complete the setup.
What does an inline filter do?
It catches flux, particles and debris that new radiators and blocks can release, protecting the pump and the fine fins in blocks. Fit it where you can reach it, and clean it after the first weeks of running a new loop.
