Overview

A 32-core, 64-thread desktop processor built on the Zen 5 architecture for high-end workstations. It delivers a 4.0 GHz base clock and 5.4 GHz boost within a 350 W TDP.

Architecture and Performance

The Zen 5 core design uses a 4 nm FinFET process to increase transistor density and instructions per clock. Precision Boost Overdrive pushes single threads to 5.4 GHz when thermal headroom allows, and the multiplier is unlocked for manual overclocking.

Cache and Memory

A unified 160 MB cache pool combines 32 MB of L2 with 128 MB of L3, managed by Smart-Fetch algorithms for low-latency access. The integrated quad-channel controller supports DDR5 RDIMMs up to 6,400 MT/s and a maximum capacity of 1 TB with ECC.

Platform Connectivity

The sTR5 socket provides 88 lanes of PCIe 5.0 through the WRX90 chipset, enabling extensive GPU, storage, and networking expansion without bandwidth bottlenecks.
