Workstation Architecture

The processor uses the Zen 5 microarchitecture built on a 4 nm FinFET process. It delivers 32 physical cores with simultaneous multithreading for 64 logical threads. Precision Boost Overdrive raises clocks up to 5.4 GHz based on thermal headroom.

Cache and Memory

A unified cache hierarchy provides 32 MB of L2 and 128 MB of L3 cache managed by Smart-Fetch algorithms. The integrated memory controller supports eight channels of DDR5-6400 RDIMM with ECC, scaling to 2 TB total capacity.

Platform Connectivity

The sTR5 socket exposes 128 lanes of PCIe 5.0 through the WRX90 chipset. This bandwidth accommodates multiple GPUs, high-speed storage arrays, and networking cards without contention.
