The Zen 5 core design uses a 4 nm FinFET process to increase transistor density and instructions per clock. Precision Boost Overdrive pushes single cores to 5.4 GHz based on thermal headroom. Overclocking is unlocked but voids warranty if damage occurs.

Cache and Memory

A unified 320 MB cache pool combines 64 MB L2 and 256 MB L3 managed by smart fetch algorithms for low-latency access. The integrated memory controller runs quad-channel DDR5 RDIMM up to 6400 MT/s with ECC support and a 1 TB capacity limit.

Platform Connectivity

The sTR5 socket exposes 88 PCIe 5.0 lanes through the WRX90 chipset, enabling extensive GPU, storage, and networking expansion. No integrated graphics are present, requiring a discrete video card for display output.
