Overview

This 24-core Zen 5 processor targets professional workstations needing high core counts, large cache, and extensive I/O for rendering, simulation, and data-intensive workloads.

Architecture and Performance

Built on a 4 nm FinFET process, the Zen 5 cores deliver higher instructions per clock than the previous generation. Precision Boost Overdrive raises individual core speeds up to 5.4 GHz based on thermal headroom, and the multiplier is unlocked for manual overclocking at the user's risk.

Cache and Memory

A combined 152 MB of L2 and L3 cache is managed by Smart-Fetch algorithms to reduce latency. The integrated memory controller drives eight channels of DDR5-6400 RDIMM with ECC, supporting up to 2 TB of system memory.

Platform Connectivity

The sTR5 socket exposes 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes for GPUs, NVMe storage, and high-speed networking. Additional instruction sets include AVX2 for vector math and dual AES units for encryption acceleration.
