Overview

An ATX motherboard built on the AMD X870E chipset for socket AM5 Ryzen 9000 processors. It delivers PCIe 5.0 graphics support, five M.2 slots, dual USB4 ports and a 23-phase power design for sustained high clocks.

Platform and Memory

The board uses the AMD X870E chipset with an AM5 LGA 1718 socket supporting Ryzen 9000 series CPUs. Four DIMM slots accept up to 256 GB of DDR5 memory at speeds up to 8200 MT/s when overclocked. Dual-channel architecture and ECC support are included.

Expansion and Storage

A full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slot connects directly to the CPU for graphics or high-speed add-in cards. Two additional chipset-linked slots provide PCIe 3.0 x16 (electrical x2) and PCIe 3.0 x1. Five M.2 sockets cover PCIe 5.0 x4, three PCIe 4.0 x4, and one PCIe 3.0 x2 plus SATA, all in 2280 form factor. Two SATA 6 Gbit/s ports are also available.

Connectivity and Networking

Rear I/O includes two USB4 Type-C ports at 40 Gbit/s with DisplayPort 2.1, five USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A at 10 Gbit/s, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A at 5 Gbit/s, and two USB 2.0 ports. Video output is provided by HDMI 2.1. Networking features a 5 Gbit/s RJ-45 port, Wi-Fi 6E with two antenna connectors, and Bluetooth. Audio uses the Realtek ALC4082 codec with two 3.5 mm jacks and S/PDIF.

Power, Cooling and Extras

A 23-phase VRM is fed by dual 8-pin 12 V connectors alongside the 24-pin ATX header. Seven 4-pin PWM headers cover CPU fans, AIO pump, water pump and chassis fans. RGB lighting support includes three 5 V ARGB headers and one 12 V RGB header. The package supplies four SATA cables, a tri-band Wi-Fi antenna, an ARGB splitter and three thermistor cables.
