Overview

A white ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z890 chipset for LGA 1851 Core Ultra processors. It targets gamers and overclockers needing high-speed storage and robust power delivery.

Power Design and Cooling

The board uses a 16+1+2 phase digital VRM solution with dedicated heatsinks. Dual 8-pin CPU power connectors feed the voltage regulators, supporting sustained high frequencies for Core Ultra processors.

Memory and Expansion

Four DDR5 DIMM slots accept up to 256 GB at speeds reaching 9500 MT/s when overclocked. Three physical PCIe x16 slots provide one Gen 5 x16 link from the CPU and two Gen 4 links from the chipset at x4 and x1 electrical widths.

Storage Connectivity

Five M.2 sockets support 2280 and longer modules; one runs at PCIe 5.0 x4 from the CPU, three at PCIe 4.0 x4 from the CPU or chipset, and one shared PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA. Four SATA 6 Gbps ports are also available.

Rear I/O and Networking

External ports include two USB4 Type-C at 40 Gbps, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, four USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI, 5 GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and Realtek ALC1220 audio jacks.
