The board pairs the Intel Z890 chipset with an LGA 1851 socket for second-generation Core Ultra processors. Four DDR5 DIMM slots accept up to 256 GB of memory with XMP 3.0 profiles reaching 9200 MT/s in dual-channel mode.

Expansion and Storage

A full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slot connects directly to the CPU for graphics cards. Two chipset-linked PCIe 4.0 x4 slots handle add-in cards. Four M.2 sockets provide one PCIe 5.0 x4 drive and three PCIe 4.0 x4 drives, alongside four SATA 6 Gbps ports.

Connectivity and Networking

The rear I/O panel includes two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports at 40 Gbps, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C at 10 Gbps, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, and four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. Networking uses a Killer E500 5 Gbps LAN controller plus Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
