Overview

A foldable USB-C smart card reader that fits on a keyring. Reads contact ID, payment, and access cards on phones, tablets, and computers.

Design and Portability

The reader folds flat to 52 by 20 by 16 millimeters and weighs 9 grams. An integrated loop attaches to a keyring so the device stays with you. A smart LED lights briefly on activity changes then turns off to avoid distraction.

Card Compatibility

The single slot accepts ATM, CAC, ID, IC, and SIS cards with visible contacts. It supports ISO 7816 Classes A, B, and C at 5V, 3V, and 1.8V, plus EMV 4.1, T=0, T=1, I2C, and common SLE and AT chip families. RFID cards without contacts are not supported.

Connectivity and Drivers

A reversible USB-C male plug connects to USB 2.0 ports at 480 Mbps and is backward compatible with USB 1.1. The device uses the CCID protocol and Microsoft USB-CCID driver for plug-and-play operation on Windows 7 through 11, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. A suitable smart card application must be installed on the host device.
