Overview

The Ducky Cushion 98 is a 96% mechanical keyboard featuring a unique Nest Mount cushioning system and quiet tactile Shush Green switches. It suits users who want a compact layout with a number pad and flexible wireless options.

Design and Build

An aluminum top plate with quick-release access covers the Nest Mount damping layer. Two Poron foam strips are included so you can choose a softer or firmer typing feel. PBT keycaps in Cherry profile resist shine and support south-facing per-key RGB lighting.

Switch Performance

Shush Green switches provide tactile feedback with a 2 mm actuation point and 4 mm total travel. Factory lubrication and integrated dampening reduce bottom-out noise. The 5-pin hot-swap sockets allow switch changes without soldering.

Connectivity and Power

Connect via 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, or wired USB-C. Bluetooth supports pairing with up to four devices. The 4,200 mAh battery delivers up to 63 hours of use with lighting disabled. A 1,000 Hz polling rate applies in wired and 2.4 GHz modes.

Software and Customization

Configure keys, macros, and lighting through the browser-based DuckyHub application. The keyboard also supports VIA for open-source keymap editing. Adjustable feet offer 7° and 11° typing angles.
