Overview

A 96% mechanical keyboard featuring Ducky's Nest Mount damping system and quiet linear Shush Red switches. Suitable for gamers and typists who want a compact layout with a number pad and flexible wireless options.

Design and Build

The aluminum top case opens without tools to access the Nest Mount damping system. Two Poron foam layers are included, one pre-installed for a softer feel and a firmer alternative. PBT keycaps in Cherry profile cover the 100-key compact layout. South-facing per-key RGB lighting shines through the transparent switch housings.

Switch Performance

Ducky Shush Red switches are linear with 43 gf actuation force, 1.9 mm pre-travel, and 4 mm total travel. Factory lubrication and integrated dampeners reduce noise on both downstroke and return. The 5-pin MX-style stems sit in hot-swap sockets for solder-free replacement. Stabilizers are also pre-lubed.

Connectivity and Power

Connect via 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth to four devices, or wired USB-C. A 4,200 mAh battery delivers up to 63 hours of use with lighting disabled. Polling rate reaches 1,000 Hz in wired and 2.4 GHz modes. The keyboard charges and operates simultaneously over USB-C.

Software and Customization

Configure keys, macros, and lighting through the browser-based DuckyHub interface with no software installation required. VIA support provides additional keymap flexibility. Adjustable feet offer typing angles of 7 or 11 degrees.
