Overview

A 96% mechanical keyboard with a soft, quiet typing feel from Nest Mount damping and Shush Red linear switches. Suitable for gaming, work, and long typing sessions.

Design and Build

The aluminum top cover releases without tools to access two included damping layers. The pre-installed layer provides a softer feel; the second layer is firmer. PBT keycaps in Cherry profile resist shine. South-facing per-key RGB lighting shines through the transparent switch housings. Adjustable feet offer 7 or 11 degree typing angles.

Switches and Typing Feel

Ducky Shush Red switches are linear with 43 gf actuation force, 1.9 mm pre-travel, and 4 mm total travel. Integrated dampening reduces bottom-out and return noise. Switches come factory-lubed with pre-lubed stabilizers for consistent feel. Hot-swap sockets accept any 5-pin MX-style switch for easy customization.

Connectivity and Power

Connect via 2.4 GHz wireless dongle, Bluetooth to up to four devices, or USB-C cable. The 4,200 mAh internal battery delivers up to 63 hours of use with RGB disabled. Polling rate reaches 1,000 Hz in wired and 2.4 GHz modes. Firmware for both keyboard and dongle updates through the browser-based DuckyHub.

Features and Compatibility

Supports full NKRO and macro programming. Configurable via DuckyHub without software installation and compatible with VIA for advanced keymapping. Includes extra keycaps and a switch puller. No dedicated media keys, USB passthrough, or wrist rest. Works with Windows and macOS per manufacturer specifications.
