Overview

A CNC-machined nickel-plated aluminum backplate designed for EK-Quantum Vector water blocks on ASUS Strix RTX 3070, 3080, and 3090 graphics cards. It spans the full PCB length for structural support and passive cooling of rear components.

Design and Construction

The backplate is CNC machined from aluminum and finished with a nickel plating for a uniform silver appearance. It is engineered to cover the entire length of the graphics card PCB, adding rigidity to the assembly.

Thermal Performance

Beyond aesthetics, the backplate acts as a heatsink for the rear of the card. It draws heat away from the voltage regulation module and GPU core on all supported models, and from the VRAM modules specifically on RTX 3090 cards.

Compatibility

This accessory is exclusively compatible with EK-Quantum Vector Strix water blocks for the ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3070, RTX 3080, and RTX 3090. It does not mount directly to the graphics card without the corresponding water block installed.
