Overview

This ATX motherboard uses the AMD B850 chipset and AM5 socket to support Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors. It delivers PCIe 5.0 bandwidth for graphics and storage plus Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Design and Cooling

The board uses a black and silver ATX layout measuring 304.8 by 243.8 mm. It includes VRM heatsinks, M.2 shields, a metal backplate, and six 4-pin PWM headers for fans or radiators.

Performance and Memory

Four DIMM slots accept DDR5 CUDIMM or UDIMM modules up to 256 GB total. Standard speed is 5600 MT/s with AMD EXPO profiles reaching 8200 MT/s when overclocked. CPU overclocking is supported with dual 8-pin power connectors.

Storage and Expansion

Three M.2 slots provide one PCIe 5.0 x4 and two PCIe 4.0 x4 connections alongside four SATA 6 Gbps ports. Expansion includes one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot running at x4, and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots.

Connectivity and Extras

Rear I/O offers two USB-C 3.1, one USB-A 3.1, one USB-A 3.0, four USB-A 2.0, a DisplayPort, 5 GbE LAN, and Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4. Internal headers add one USB-C 3.1, four USB-A 3.0, four USB-A 2.0, RGB and digital RGB connectors, front audio, and SPI TPM.
