Overview

The NH-P1 is a fanless CPU cooler built for silent operation using natural convection. It suits low-to-moderate TDP processors and supports both Intel and AMD platforms.

Passive Design and Performance

The NH-P1 uses six heatpipes and widely spaced aluminum fins soldered to the pipes for a durable thermal interface. In cases with good natural convection it cools modern high-end CPUs with low to moderate heat dissipation without any fan. Adding a low-speed 120 mm fan increases dissipation capacity for spikes or semi-passive setups.

Compatibility and Clearance

An asymmetrical fin stack offsets toward the motherboard's upper edge, clearing the top PCIe x16 slot on most micro-ATX and ATX boards. The design also avoids overhanging RAM slots on Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115x and AMD AM4, AM5, guaranteeing full compatibility with tall DIMM heat spreaders.

Mounting and Included Accessories

The Torx-based SecuFirm2+ multi-socket mounting system supports current Intel and AMD sockets plus older platforms via optional free kits. A tube of NT-H2 thermal compound is included, and the cooler carries a six-year manufacturer warranty.
