Overview

A direct-die water block for delidded Intel LGA 1700 processors. It features a nickel-plated copper microfin cold plate, acrylic viewing window, and addressable RGB lighting.

Direct-Die Cooling Design

The cold plate mounts directly onto the CPU die after the integrated loading mechanism and heat spreader are removed. A jet system and optimized channel width target heat at the source. The nickel plating acts as a diffusion barrier for gallium-based liquid metal.

Construction and Lighting

A tempered acrylic glass panel sits between the cold plate and an anodized aluminum cover. This tempering process relieves internal stress to prevent cracking over time. Integrated LEDs illuminate the acrylic and fittings through a standard 3-pin 5V ARGB connection.

Loop Integration

Two G1/4-inch ports allow straightforward connection to a custom water cooling loop. The package includes a pressure test protocol verified at 600 mbar, countersunk UNC screws, a 5/64-inch hex wrench, and a T20 Torx wrench for installation.

Compatibility and Notes

Designed for 12th, 13th, and 14th generation Intel Core processors on the LGA 1700 socket. The manufacturer does not recommend thermal pads such as KryoSheet, as added thickness can affect mounting pressure and impair function. Delidding voids the CPU warranty.
