Overview

An ATX motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset for socket AM5 processors. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series CPUs with DDR5 memory up to 8000 MT/s.

Design and Power Delivery

The board uses a black ATX layout with heatsinks on the VRM and M.2 slots. Dual 8-pin CPU power connectors feed the voltage regulators for stable overclocking. Six four-pin PWM headers provide cooling control for fans and radiators.

Memory and Expansion

Four DIMM slots accept up to 256 GB of DDR5 with AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles. The top PCIe x16 slot runs at Gen 5 speeds, while a second x16-size slot operates at Gen 4 x4. Four M.2 sockets include one Gen 5 and three Gen 4, plus four SATA 6 Gbps ports.

Connectivity and I/O

Rear I/O includes two USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, two USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI, and 2.5 GbE LAN. Internal headers add one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers, two USB 2.0 headers, and RGB lighting connectors.

Network and Audio

Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Wired networking relies on a Killer E3100G 2.5 GbE controller. Audio is handled by the Realtek ALC4082 codec. BIOS Flashback allows firmware updates without a CPU installed.
